I actually find this case to be interesting. I find law in America to be — how should I say — I very strange animal. It is more about what you cannot prove than anything else.

The only thing I can say about this case is they have their family behind them and that says a lot in the American judicial system. When I was dealing with juvenile justice cases, I noticed that the cases where the family stood with the kids, got those kids a lot of brownie points with the judges.

Kids who stood alone and abandoned by family were vulnerable to the back hand of the system.

The only thing I have to say about this case is that if these brothers are released, which is okay with me, EVERY SINGLE CASE THAT IS SIMILAR NEEDS TO RESULT IN THE RELEASE OF AFFECTED INMATES ALSO! PERIOD! NO SPECIAL TREATMENT.
