The #Truth about #Love and #Relationships

Please note that most of what I write is based on pagan or non-traditional beliefs.

Some of us have experienced happenings in #life where we may have felt like our breathing had stopped or that our reason for #living was gone. We could not believe that a certain loved one had passed on to the other side or that a co-worker had betrayed us at our place of employment.  We may have been in shock for months when our spouse announced that they wanted a #divorce and left us #brokenhearted and we wondered why things weren’t going the way Hollywood said they would.  I’d like to submit some observations about love that I think outweigh Hollywood’s notions and basically my take on love is that you should definitely love others, but you must also love yourself:

Should We #Worship #Spirits or Should They Worship Us?

One of my purposes for writing books and blogs, is to incite others to hear, to think and to decide for themselves– in that order.  Renee Tarot, Author of “The Mystic” on Amazon. [ad]

Hopefully this Background Info will Provide Context for this Installment

I am fortunate to have experienced quite a few unusual, and sometimes painful, events, which have prompted me to write and to offer anecdotes and informed opinions about a variety of topics.  My very traumatic spiritual past has also caused me to ponder the state of #spirituality in a quest for my own #truth, and as I mentioned above, the purpose of my blogging is really to spark conversations and actions that will help someone else find their own truth.

Here About a Conversation with a Christian from Africa

Originally published 9/1/13

….had an interesting conversation with a christian Nigerian yesterday….

He was talking about how much he loved Jesus and I asked why people in Subsaharan Africa embraced a foreign religion in spite of their intense indigenous spirituality. He quickly corrected me and said Africa has NOT rejected the Orisha. He said they go to Jesus for ‘meager’ things, but when there is something they cannot handle –that is above their heads, they go to the Orisha. Hmmmm.

The Spirit of the #Owl

“I fly right at you; see my eyes they are filled with light, cutting through the dark. I fly right at you, into you.” Voice of #Owl medicine speaking through Amaya

When I read these words today, I was shocked. Recently, after a few months of dealing with deceitful people, I felt drained and isolated. I knew these people had come into my life because I had to reveal to them what they needed to know so they could go to their next level, but who wants to hear about themselves –– hardly anyone and it turns me into the enemy.

What Can You Learn About Spirituality from the Black Pentecostal Church.

As a child growing up in the pentecostal church I was very well aware that we were not like the churches on TV who sat quietly in their seats while their pastors calmly exegeted texts that were devised by catholic priests. Those pastors could speak in a whisper and still be heard on the back row of the church, however my church was a bit different.

Have any of you pentecostals ever wondered why we just HAD to have a drum or bongos in the building even if there was no other musician?

Many of you are well aware of what it’s like to be taught by pentecostals so I’ll spare you the gory details, but just know after some years in the church, I left because there were too many things that did not make sense and even more ideas that should have received attention, but were ignored AND you were crucified if you wanted to think or use your mind.

Like many of you, I left because the concept of an eternal hell did not resonate with me in light of the many dreams of reincarnation and spirit visions that I was blessed to have as a “Pisces” child.

Twin Flames: The New Love Relationship Part II

Disclaimer — I was listening to music by Yes when I wrote this, in a room smoky with ctm incense, typing using hands dusty with orris root…..

Tarot Card pulled prior to this writing – ‪#‎Strength‬

Where do I start?

Anyone who reads this is most likely a very evolved soul, somewhat detached from the happenings of this earth, yet here nonetheless. You may feel that you are not accepted by the status quo, but you really don’t care because you know they don’t have a clue. You long to become ONE, with something, yet not sure why those that lie next to you leave you empty with your root ‪#‎chakra‬ depleted instead of restored.

We need it, long for it, crave it, but don’t know exactly what it is….damn this flesh that covers and veils the truth and hides me from my freedom. Then one day you see them. With head cocked to the side you wonder why so much interest in a stranger, until they speak and you hear your words, thoughts, feelings and ideas coming from the mouth of an incarnate who is outside of you. Wow, you may have just found your twin flame.

Now I’ll Live Happily Ever After?????

It is not about ‪#‎sex‬ even though many twins think it is and delve into it just to find they repel each other…or not. Perhaps you are to know that the other exists but remain at a distance because the strength they give you would make the journey in this life too easy because together the ‪#‎power‬ you have is unstoppable. Have you met your twin flame…your other self? The emotion they evoke is life shattering and the ‪#‎frustrations‬ that come as a result of NOT being able to get to them is even worse. Environmental influences, the ‪#‎matrix‬, distance, other relationships prevent you from physically interacting, but I have good news>..LOL
